It looks like Nolan's pick can still be used when little BB is a toddler. "For use from birth to 50 lbs"
You would take his side... I'm gonna win this battle! Mark my words! lol!
if i was a big baller like you guys, i'd pick the orbit. but our middle class butts picked britax usa. :)
Hardly BIG BALLER.... maybe my Mom & Dad are semi-ballers and will buy it for their grandson... lol!
both of the carseats only hold up to a 22 lb. baby, bb will outgrow them before he turns a year old. it's the chicco stroller that holds up to 50 lbs. but it's bulky and heavy. norrin is only 33 lbs. and i don't see that stroller holding him. if nolan likes chicco, i suggest the keyfit 30, weight limit goes to 30 lbs. i wouldn't buy the whole travel system, just the carseat.
@Loni... Or i could just get whatever I want and Nol has to deal with it :-)
the baby wont fit into either for very long...i have the chicco it is really bulky and heavy. Also, (and I know this will be important to you) it has double wheels on the front which make it very impractical to take shopping. I tried to take it to the store today and ran into every rack in the store. Its definetly a bear to steer. I agree with Loni go for the keyfit 30 i have quite a few friends with it and they love it. I wouldnt do the entire travel sytem either. Just the car seat and then you can buy a less bulky but still fabulous stroller :) you look beautiful by the way!
I would say go for nolans pick bc its cheaper, so far my $300 graco travel system has worked out great. But if u can afford it get the one u want, just make sure u try it out n feel comfortable w it. Anyway, this is pointless, u know ur getting ur way! Lol
I have the keyfit 30... for the infant carrier. And, I got the snap n go to use as the "stroller" with the carrier. (All you have to do is unlatch the infant carrier from the carbase then pop it into the stroller frame! So easy that I'm going to be sad when he grows out of it). Everyone I talked to (and all the reviews I read) said not to get a travel system bc it's too big, bulky, and heavy.
Once the baby grows out of the infant carrier, then you'll have to buy a bigger carseat... I'm going to get one of the Britax carseats bc those are highly rated and safe as well.
As my second stroller, I WAS going to get the Baby Jogger City Mini bc of the one handed folding capabilities. If you like one handed folding, you should take a look at that one... you can find review videos on it on youtube.
I wanted to get the Maclaren stroller but I didnt like how the lighter in weight ones don't recline all the way, so I decided to get the Chicco Liteway for once K grows out of his snap n go. I'll probably get a Maclaren also later on once he's bigger and doesn't need a recline. (OR- if I see one at Marshalls... lol ;)
The "trend" nowadays is to stay away from the travel systems and go with the lighter stroller frames and to get an umbrella stroller.
You can't really lose by getting either stroller bc they seem to both be really good... but definitely take into consideration how heavy they are in case you have to go somewhere with BB by yourself.
Well I don't have a baby so I don't shit really but the one you like is similar to melissa's which is really convenient and compact bc you can transfer them while they're sleeping in stroller to car or vise versa with out waking them up so they can cry in your ear. I used something (your pick) very similar helping with taking care of emilys neice veery nice if it the same where you take directly from stroller and clip down into the car that's already strapped right its awesome
